About the Role
As a Full-Time Faculty member in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, you'll teach and mentor students across classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. This position offers the opportunity to lead a comprehensive curriculum in ultrasound imaging technology while contributing to program development and academic excellence.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on instruction in diagnostic ultrasound principles, physics, and clinical applications
- Supervise students in laboratory and clinical practicum experiences
- Develop, maintain, and update course materials and learning assessments aligned with sonography standards
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth
- Maintain current knowledge of ultrasound equipment, imaging protocols, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the DMS program and student outcomes
- Model professional standards and ethical practice in diagnostic medical sonography
What We're Looking For
- Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or equivalent credential
- Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Professional sonography experience in clinical settings
- Strong communication and teaching abilities
- Knowledge of ultrasound technology, human anatomy, and physiology
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and fostering an inclusive learning environment
