About the Role
You'll take comprehensive ownership of your assigned multifamily portfolio, combining hands-on community oversight with strategic portfolio management. Working from the Atlanta area with regular regional travel, you'll partner with property teams to ensure operational excellence, execute Arlington's vision, and create thriving communities where residents and staff succeed.
What You'll Do
- Direct operations and strategic initiatives across your portfolio of multifamily properties
- Lead property managers and teams to deliver consistent service and operational standards
- Monitor financial performance, occupancy, and key metrics; drive improvements and accountability
- Travel throughout the region to conduct property inspections, support teams, and ensure compliance
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize portfolio performance and growth
- Maintain resident satisfaction and competitive market positioning
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience managing multifamily properties or comparable real estate portfolios
- Proven track record as a people leader who builds and motivates high-performing teams
- Financial management expertise and comfort with P&L responsibility
- Strategic mindset with demonstrated success planning and executing business initiatives
- Strong communication skills across organizational levels
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the region
- Deep knowledge of multifamily operations, market dynamics, and resident needs
