About the Role

As a Sales Associate at Dollar General, you'll be the face of our store, creating a welcoming shopping experience while keeping our shelves stocked and our customers satisfied. This is a full-time position where your work directly impacts how our community experiences Dollar General.

What You'll Do

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service at checkout and throughout the store
• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and securely
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to keep shelves organized and appealing
• Track inventory and help maintain optimal product availability
• Keep the sales floor, fitting areas, and stockroom clean and organized
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe, compliant work environment
• Assist with store opening and closing duties as assigned
• Work collaboratively with your store team to meet daily and weekly goals

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail or customer service experience a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and punctual—able to work the retail schedule including weekends as needed
• Physical ability to lift, stand, and move throughout the store during shifts
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
