Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical – Days

About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive medical and surgical patient care on our daytime shift. You'll work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced hospital environment, using your clinical expertise to support patients through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, symptoms, and clinical status throughout your shift
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols
• Perform wound care, manage IV therapies, and utilize clinical equipment appropriately
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide patient and family education on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Document patient care accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and follow infection control standards
• Respond to patient needs and requests with professionalism and empathy

What We're Looking For

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or Associate degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
• Certification or experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize care effectively
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
