About the Role

As a Certified Occupational Therapist in a Chicago public school, you'll deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students with diverse developmental and learning needs.
What You'll Do
- Conduct functional assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
- Collaborate with special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and school staff to support student progress
- Document student outcomes and maintain required clinical records
- Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences
- Support students' participation in classroom and school-wide activities
What We're Looking For
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
- Valid Illinois occupational therapy licensure
- Bachelor's degree or higher (OT requirement)
- Experience working with school-aged children and special education populations (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and inclusive education practices
