About the Role

In this litigation attorney position, you'll handle workers' compensation cases from inception through resolution, managing all phases of representation within California's workers' compensation system and state courts.

  • Conduct discovery, draft motions, and develop case strategy in workers' compensation litigation
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings and civil court proceedings across Southern California
  • Negotiate settlements and prepare comprehensive trial strategy for contested workers' compensation claims
  • Conduct witness interviews with claimants, employers, medical providers, and expert witnesses
  • Prepare legal briefs, memoranda, and correspondence on workers' compensation matters
  • Maintain organized case documentation and track critical deadlines under California workers' compensation law

What We're Looking For

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with active California bar license
  • Demonstrated experience as a litigation attorney focused on workers' compensation law
  • Thorough knowledge of California workers' compensation statutes and administrative procedures
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation capabilities in legal settings
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads independently and meet legal obligations
