About the Role

Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office is seeking dedicated professionals to serve as Sheriff’s Deputies, protecting residents and visitors through proactive patrol, emergency response, and community engagement.

What You'll Do

• Patrol assigned neighborhoods, roadways, and public areas to deter criminal activity and ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to calls for service, including emergencies, disturbances, and accidents.
• Enforce state statutes, county ordinances, and traffic laws while upholding constitutional rights.
• Conduct preliminary investigations, gather evidence, and interview witnesses and suspects.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, arrest documentation, and court testimony.
• Assist with traffic control, crash scene management, and public event security.
• Participate in ongoing training, firearms qualification, and physical fitness programs.
• Build positive relationships with community members through outreach and problem‑solving initiatives.
