About the Role
As an Injection Mold Technician at Gibraltar Industries, you'll be responsible for maintaining peak operational efficiency across our injection molding production line. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll combine technical expertise with problem-solving skills to ensure consistent, high-quality output that meets our strict production standards.
What You'll Do
- Configure and optimize injection molding machine parameters to consistently produce parts that meet quality specifications
- Diagnose machine issues and implement process adjustments to resolve production challenges quickly
- Execute mold changeovers efficiently and precisely according to production schedules
- Set up and program robotic systems integrated with molding equipment
- Monitor machine performance throughout shifts to maintain output within required tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience operating and troubleshooting injection molding machinery
- Hands-on skill in mold setup, changeover, and machine parameter configuration
- Familiarity with robotic systems and automation programming
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Ability to read technical specifications and work to precise tolerances
- Reliable, safety-conscious work ethic with attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
