Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit – Travel Registered Nurse

You'll join a hospital-based medical-surgical and telemetry unit where your expertise in patient care directly impacts recovery outcomes. This travel nursing position offers the clinical challenge and variety that experienced RNs seek, combined with the flexibility of assignment-based work. You'll practice at the full scope of your nursing license while collaborating with established care teams in a structured, supportive environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care to adult patients recovering from surgery and managing acute medical conditions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs through telemetry systems and bedside assessment
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per physician orders and established protocols
• Conduct thorough patient and family education around diagnosis, recovery, and self-care management
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses with accuracy and timeliness
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapy, and discharge planning
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and adhere to infection control standards

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact nursing license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
• Minimum one year of medical-surgical and telemetry unit nursing experience
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and hospital electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining excellent clinical judgment and time management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced acute-care settings
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays
