Cardiac Cath Lab – Travel Registered Nurse

Trusted Health is hiring a full-time Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Alex, Rapides Parish. About the Role

This cardiac catheterization lab assignment places you in a dynamic clinical environment where you'll support interventional cardiology procedures. You'll work alongside cardiologists and specialized teams to deliver high-quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac interventions. What You'll Do

• Prepare and educate patients before cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses throughout interventional procedures
• Manage cath lab equipment, supplies, and instrumentation
• Document patient care, clinical observations, and procedural outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, technicians, and team members
• Respond to acute changes and complications with clinical judgment and professionalism
• Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and radiation safety practices

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure in Louisiana
• BLS certification (ACLS highly preferred)
• Experience in critical care, emergency nursing, or cardiac specialties
• Understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in high-acuity settings
• Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities and teams
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
