Stability Healthcare is placing a Travel Operating Room RN in Nichols Hills, Oklahoma County — a full-time, 13-week contract paying $1,882 per week for experienced perioperative nurses ready to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced surgical environment.

About the Role

This travel OR RN position is based in the Oklahoma City metro area and calls for a skilled scrub or circulating nurse who can step confidently into an active operating room from day one. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, supporting surgical teams across a range of procedures in an inpatient hospital setting.

What You'll Do

• Serve as scrub or circulating RN throughout intraoperative phases, ensuring patient safety and surgical efficiency
• Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and patient education in the holding area
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field, anticipating instrument and supply needs for each procedure
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses, and surgical progress throughout each case
• Perform post-operative handoffs and documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Adapt quickly to varied surgical specialties and evolving case schedules typical of a travel assignment

What We're Looking For

• Active RN license valid in Oklahoma (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in scrub and/or circulating roles across multiple surgical specialties
• BLS and ACLS certifications current at time of start
• CNOR certification a plus, but not required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and maintain flexibility within a travel contract schedule
• Strong communication skills and the ability to integrate seamlessly into established OR teams
