Marketing Operations Specialist

ISEP Study Abroad is hiring a full-time Marketing Operations Specialist to join its Marketing & Communications team at its office in Rosslyn, Arlington County.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this exempt position sits at the intersection of marketing strategy and technical execution. The Marketing Operations Specialist keeps the team's systems, data, and campaigns running at peak efficiency — translating marketing goals into measurable, scalable processes that support ISEP's mission of expanding access to international education.

What You'll Do

• Own and optimize the marketing technology stack, including CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics integrations
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve automated email workflows, lead nurture sequences, and audience segmentation
• Track and report on campaign performance across channels, delivering actionable insights to the broader marketing team
• Manage marketing database health — ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all systems
• Partner with the communications team to coordinate campaign logistics, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies
• Implement and monitor UTM tracking, conversion attribution, and performance dashboards
• Identify process gaps and develop solutions that increase marketing efficiency and output quality
• Support A/B testing initiatives and translate results into concrete optimization recommendations

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in a marketing operations, marketing technology, or related role
• Hands-on proficiency with marketing automation platforms (such as HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) and CRM systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Solid understanding of email marketing best practices, list segmentation, and deliverability
• Meticulous attention to detail and a structured approach to managing multiple concurrent projects
• Comfort working cross-functionally in a mission-driven, collaborative environment
• Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics or equivalent) is a plus
