About the Role

This Anesthesiologist Pediatrics position in San Diego offers a part-time schedule for a board-certified or board-eligible physician who specializes in caring for infants, children, and adolescents. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric anesthesia care across perioperative, procedural, and pain management settings.
• Develop and manage individualized anesthetic plans tailored to each child's medical history and surgical needs.
• Monitor patients closely before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Partner with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to coordinate seamless care.
• Communicate clearly with families to explain anesthesia plans and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency and pediatric anesthesiology training.
• Board certification or board eligibility in anesthesiology, with a pediatric focus.
• Active and unrestricted California medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based, family-centered care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
