Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our long term care team on straight night shifts. This LPN Long Term Care (Straight Nights) - Part Time role in Fairdale, Walsh County offers an opportunity to deliver compassionate bedside care to seniors within a faith-based, not-for-profit setting.
About the Role
As an LPN at Good Samaritan, you will provide skilled nursing care to residents during overnight hours at our Lakota, ND center (608 4th Ave SW, Lakota, ND 58344). This is a part-time, night-shift position built around consistent straight nights, supporting residents who count on attentive, around-the-clock care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care and monitor resident health and comfort throughout 12-hour night shifts
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and care plans
- Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to the care team
- Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain a safe, dignified, and supportive living environment
- Uphold quality care standards consistent with our mission and Christian values
Qualifications
- Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
- Availability for straight night shifts in a long term care setting
- Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered senior care
- Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills
Schedule & Compensation
- Employment type: Part time, approximately 24 weekly hours
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (straight nights)
- Salary range: $26.00 – $36.00
