RN Long Term Care (LTC) – PT Nights

Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Long Term Care (LTC) to join our night shift team in Hamar, Nelson County. If you are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care to seniors, this part-time nursing role offers meaningful, purpose-driven work.

About the Role

As an RN in Long Term Care (LTC) on PT Nights with Good Samaritan, you will provide skilled nursing care to elderly residents during overnight hours. This part-time position follows a 12-hour night shift schedule of approximately 24 hours per week, with a posted hourly range of $32.50 to $48.00. You will be a trusted presence for residents and families, supporting comfort, dignity, and well-being throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to long term care residents during 12-hour night shifts
• Assess resident conditions, administer medications, and monitor changes in health status
• Document care accurately and communicate updates to the care team
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies overnight
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support individualized care plans
• Uphold a safe, respectful, and caring environment for every resident

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Interest in or experience with long term care and geriatric nursing
• Availability to work part-time, 12-hour overnight shifts
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
