About the Role
As an Automotive Service Detailer (Service Detailer/Porter) at Premier Subaru of Fremont, you'll play a hands-on part in delivering the polished, professional experience our customers expect. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Fremont, Alameda County, ideal for someone who takes pride in attention to detail and enjoys working with vehicles every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, wax, buff, and detail interiors and exteriors of new, pre-owned, and serviced vehicles to a high standard of presentation.
- Prepare and stage vehicles so they are clean and showroom-ready for customers and the sales floor.
- Move and organize vehicles throughout the dealership lot and service areas as a porter.
- Support the service department by keeping work areas tidy and ensuring vehicles are returned to customers in excellent condition.
- Follow safe handling, cleaning, and dealership procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- A strong eye for detail and genuine pride in quality, finished work.
- A valid driver's license and a clean, safe approach to operating vehicles on the lot.
- Reliability, a positive team-first attitude, and willingness to work on-site in Fremont.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.
- Prior detailing, car wash, or dealership experience is a plus, though not required.
