About the Role
As a QA Tech on the 1st Shift in Oakland, Pottawattamie County, you will safeguard product quality throughout the production process. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of in-line audits and tests during active production to confirm output meets defined specifications.
- Check and log the internal cooking temperatures of finished products to ensure they fall within required ranges.
- Verify metal detector performance using calibration standards; when a unit is found defective, hold affected product and re-inspect everything produced since the last successful check.
- Monitor adherence to proper production protocols and sanitary procedures across the line.
- Accurately document audit results and quality records throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Availability to work the 1st Shift on-site, between the hours of 4:50 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- Careful attention to detail and a commitment to consistent, accurate record-keeping.
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance practices is an asset.
- Comfortable using measurement and inspection equipment such as thermometers and metal detector standards.
