OSI Careers seeks a full-time Manager of the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Program in Northwoods, DuPage County. Lead critical food safety initiatives and regulatory compliance across our global food production and distribution operations, ensuring every product meets the highest standards our retail and foodservice partners expect.

About the Role

As Manager–FSQA Program, you'll oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of comprehensive food safety and quality assurance programs. This full-time position places you at the center of our commitment to deliver safe, high-quality products from concept to table. You'll manage a focused team dedicated to maintaining safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across all production facilities and supply chain touchpoints.

What You'll Do

• Design, establish, and oversee food safety and quality assurance programs aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Lead and develop a team of quality assurance and food safety professionals
• Conduct systematic audits, inspections, and testing to identify and mitigate potential safety risks
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and international food safety regulations and certifications
• Spearhead process improvement initiatives to strengthen quality standards and operational efficiency
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting systems for all FSQA activities and findings
• Partner with production, sourcing, and supply chain functions to sustain quality standards across operations
• Design and deliver training programs that equip teams with current safety protocols and best practices
• Investigate quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Environmental Health, or related discipline
• 5+ years managing food safety and quality assurance programs or operations
• Strong expertise in food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and industry certifications
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing technical teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to prioritize across multiple initiatives in a complex, fast-paced environment
