CommuniCare Health Services is hiring a full-time Director of Maintenance in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, to lead facilities upkeep at our Burlington House Healthcare Center. About the Role
As Director of Maintenance, you will own the day-to-day maintenance program for our Cincinnati skilled nursing facility. Working a full day shift, you will guide a dedicated team, manage building systems, and ensure every space supports the comfort and well-being of residents, families, and staff at Burlington House Healthcare Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all maintenance operations across the facility, ensuring reliable, timely upkeep.
- Recruit, hire, schedule, and supervise maintenance team members.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and respond promptly to repair needs.
- Maintain building systems, equipment, and grounds in safe working order.
- Support compliance with applicable health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Partner with facility leadership to plan, prioritize, and budget maintenance work.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance, facilities, or building operations, ideally in a healthcare or senior care setting.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, lead, and develop a maintenance staff.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Strong organizational skills and a dependable, hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Availability for a full-time, on-site day shift schedule in Cincinnati, Hamilton County.
