Role Overview

Eaton Rapids Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Wrestling Coach to lead our middle school wrestling program for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in wrestling, a commitment to athlete development, and the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.

What You'll Do

This seasonal position requires effective communication, organization, and a focus on developing both individual skills and team dynamics. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for wrestlers of varying skill levels
• Providing individualized coaching to enhance athletes' physical fitness and technical wrestling abilities
• Maintaining a positive, supportive environment that fosters teamwork and sportsmanship
• Developing strategies for team success in competitions and tournaments
• Evaluating athlete performance and providing constructive feedback for improvement

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate should have:

• A proven track record of coaching experience, preferably at the middle school level or higher
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff
• Knowledge of wrestling rules and techniques
• The capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
