About the Role

As Work Control Specialist, you'll be central to how Hansell Tierney operates its radiological facility. You'll oversee the systems and procedures that govern how work gets planned, documented, authorized, and executed in a safety-critical environment. This is a full-time position requiring daily in-office presence at our facility in Hayward.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain work control procedures for radiological operations
  • Coordinate work planning and scheduling across engineering, fabrication, and safety teams
  • Prepare and manage work documentation, permits, and compliance records
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry safety standards
  • Monitor work execution and investigate any deviations from approved processes
  • Collaborate with radiation safety personnel to manage radiological hazards
  • Support training and communicate work control expectations to facility staff
