Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-growing events and media organization seeking a WordPress Web Developer to join their team in London. This in-person role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of website development and optimization in a dynamic startup environment.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Improving the overall performance and speed of the WordPress website
• Developing and maintaining an effective platform for information sharing with key stakeholders
• Optimizing the structure and display of existing and new content across the site
• Working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and operations teams to identify and tackle business needs
• Providing technical support to internal teams experiencing website-related difficulties
• Managing website updates, plugins, and security maintenance

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a developer with extensive WordPress experience who can demonstrate a strong portfolio of work. You should be ready to share examples of websites you've built or managed.

Essential skills and qualities:

• Deep knowledge of WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin management
• Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and follow through on commitments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities with proven capacity to structure and prioritize workload
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, in-person startup environment

This position is based at the client's London office near Victoria Station. The role is Monday through Friday in-office with no remote work option. Start date is flexible.
