Werkstudent SEO & Content (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital comparison platform in their search for a working student to support their SEO and content operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a current university student in Berlin who wants hands-on experience with search engine optimization, content management systems, and emerging technologies in digital search.

You'll work up to 20 hours per week during the semester with flexibility to increase hours during breaks. This role offers practical exposure to how large-scale websites maintain visibility in search engines and adapt to new AI-driven search experiences.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and existing content into the content management system, managing formatting, internal linking, and page elements
• Conduct quality checks to ensure content displays correctly across the website
• Support internal linking expansion and on-page optimization projects
• Assist with data analysis tasks and prepare SEO performance data in clear formats
• Help the team prepare and implement SEO tests
• Participate in emerging search initiatives, including visibility optimization for AI overviews and large language models

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university in a relevant field such as communications, journalism, media, marketing, or comparable studies
• Available to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester, with flexibility to increase hours during semester breaks
• Detail-oriented with structured and reliable work habits
• Interest in SEO, websites, digital products, and emerging technology with eagerness to expand knowledge in these areas
• Comfortable working with data and numbers; experience with Excel or similar tools is advantageous
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
• No prior SEO experience required—willingness to learn digital tools and systems is what matters most
