What This Role Involves

The role of a Village Nurse at Selwyn Village involves working independently overnight shifts while being part of a supportive clinical team. You will provide essential clinical support to independent living residents, ensuring their well-being and addressing any health concerns that arise during the night. The shift pattern is Monday 2230-0715 and Tuesday 2200-0715, totaling 17 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to independent living residents in a community setting.
• Build genuine relationships with residents, ensuring their comfort and safety during the night shift.
• Respond promptly to any health concerns or emergencies that may arise.
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality of resident information.

Requirements

• RN/EN qualification from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience in a clinical nursing role, preferably within a residential or community setting.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents and their families.
• Able to work independently while maintaining high standards of care.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during the night shift.
