About the Role
As a Utility Skilled Laborer focused on wet utilities, you'll support the installation, maintenance, and repair of critical water, sewer, and stormwater systems. You'll work directly on site and underground construction projects, applying practical skills and technical knowledge to complete work to specification and timeline.
What You'll Do
- Excavate and prepare sites for water line, sewer, and stormwater utility installation and maintenance
- Support installation and repair operations for wet utility infrastructure systems
- Operate hand tools and standard equipment following engineered specifications and safety requirements
- Collaborate with crew members and construction professionals to meet project deadlines
- Follow blueprints and project specifications with careful attention to detail
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and report potential hazards
- Contribute to the successful completion of mission-critical utility construction projects
