Your Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate utility identification, conflict analysis, and resolution workflows for projects across the Pacific Northwest
• Review drawings, base maps, and survey data to locate existing and proposed electric, gas, water, sewer, telecom, and related facilities
• Prepare utility coordination documentation, including conflict matrices, relocation concepts, and supporting exhibits
• Communicate with design staff, contractors, agencies, and utility owners to align schedules, clearances, and constructability needs
• Track utility milestones, permit and easement-related inputs, and revise plans as project information evolves
• Support quality checks so deliverables meet applicable standards, codes, and project requirements in the Seattle area and broader Pacific Northwest
• Contribute field-aware planning insight when site conditions or as-built information affect utility strategy

What We're Looking For

• Experience in utility planning, utility coordination, or a closely related infrastructure planning role
• Working knowledge of common utility systems and how they interface with civil and roadway project design
• Ability to read and interpret plans, maps, as-builts, and GIS-style data accurately
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external utility stakeholders
• Organization and follow-through to manage multiple priorities and deadline-driven deliverables
• Problem-solving mindset for resolving conflicts among underground and overhead utilities
• Familiarity with Pacific Northwest project contexts or willingness to apply strong fundamentals in the Seattle, Washington market
• Proficiency with standard office and design collaboration tools used in multi-discipline project settings
