Traveling Superintendent

Gpac is hiring a Traveling Superintendent for a full-time position based in Bend, Deschutes County. This role offers the chance to lead teams across multiple construction projects while working with a collaborative, growth-focused organization.

About the Role

As a Traveling Superintendent, you'll oversee daily operations and execution on construction sites across various projects. This position partners you with established general contractors, giving you autonomy to manage crews, solve problems in real time, and directly influence project outcomes. You'll coordinate with subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure quality standards are met on each job site.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise construction crews and subcontractors on assigned projects
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality control
• Manage day-to-day site operations and resolve issues as they arise
• Communicate progress and concerns with project managers and clients
• Maintain safety compliance and site organization
• Travel between project locations as assignments rotate

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a superintendent or field manager in construction
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors effectively
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Willingness to travel for project assignments
