Senior Workday Analyst

Nutanix is hiring a Senior Workday Analyst to join its Global People Technology team at the company's Grandview Heights, Franklin County office — a full-time, on-site opportunity for an experienced Workday professional ready to shape how a leading cloud infrastructure company leverages its HR technology platform.

About the Role

As a Senior Workday Analyst at Nutanix, you will serve as a primary subject-matter expert on the Workday platform, driving configuration, optimization, and adoption across the organization. You will act as a trusted advisor to internal business partners — translating their goals into effective system solutions and ensuring the platform continuously supports evolving workforce needs.

What You'll Do

• Design, configure, and maintain Workday business processes, security roles, and tenant settings across HCM and related functional areas
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions
• Provide expert-level consultation on Workday capabilities, best practices, and feature releases to help business partners maximize platform value
• Lead end-to-end testing cycles including unit, integration, and user-acceptance testing for system changes and bi-annual Workday releases
• Build and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards that surface actionable workforce data
• Troubleshoot configuration issues, assess root causes, and implement durable resolutions with minimal disruption
• Document system configurations, process flows, and training materials to support knowledge transfer and audit readiness
• Partner with the broader People Technology team on roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Substantial hands-on experience configuring Workday in a production tenant environment
• Deep functional knowledge across multiple Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, or Talent
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into well-structured, maintainable Workday configurations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to data accuracy and system integrity
• Experience supporting Workday release cycles and conducting thorough regression testing
• Excellent communication skills — comfortable presenting solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Workday certification in one or more functional areas is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
