About the Role
As a traveling Speech Language Pathologist, you'll deliver evidence-based speech, language, and swallowing disorder treatment to diverse patient populations in healthcare settings throughout the Oakland and surrounding Bay Area communities. This full-time, on-site role combines the clinical autonomy you'd expect from an established SLP position with the variety and learning opportunities unique to travel assignments. What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments using standardized protocols and clinical judgment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech articulation, language development, fluency, voice, and dysphagia
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and care coordinators
- Document clinical findings, treatment progress, and patient outcomes in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
- Modify therapeutic approaches based on patient response and evolving clinical needs
- Participate in quality improvement and professional development initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Clinical Competence in your state of practice (CCC-SLP) or unrestricted state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Valid, unrestricted California SLP license or ability to obtain one quickly
- Professional flexibility and strong interpersonal skills suited to adapting across different clinical environments
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
