Travel Physical Therapist – $2,161 per week

Wellspring Nurse Source is actively recruiting a travel physical therapist to join our team at a facility-based position in Wilmington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. This is a full-time travel assignment starting as soon as possible, offering consistent 40-hour work weeks and $2,161 weekly compensation.

Role Overview

You'll deliver high-quality rehabilitative care as a licensed physical therapist in a dynamic clinical setting. Over this 13-week engagement, you'll work standard day shifts with a collaborative healthcare team, making a direct impact on patient recovery and mobility outcomes in the Wilmington area. This role is ideal for licensed professionals seeking structured, predictable scheduling during a travel assignment.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and physician referrals
• Perform direct patient care including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modality-based interventions to restore function and reduce pain
• Progress patient plans according to established protocols and measurable clinical goals throughout their episode of care
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, ergonomics, and strategies to prevent future injury
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Adhere to all facility policies, compliance standards, and safety protocols

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Massachusetts or compact license; licensure must be current and in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Bachelor's degree minimum in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours weekly across an 8-hour daily schedule
• Strong clinical reasoning, patient care skills, and commitment to evidence-based practice
• Professional communication abilities and ability to collaborate within a team environment
