About This Position
We are currently seeking a travel nurse RN for an exciting opportunity in the Operating Room (OR) department. This is a full-time position with a duration of 13 weeks and requires working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in proper condition.
- Prepare patients for surgery by explaining the process, providing comfort, and ensuring they understand the procedure.
- Monitor patient’s vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team immediately.
- Participate in preoperative and postoperative care as required.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have:
- A current RN license and valid OR certification.
- At least 1-2 years of recent OR experience.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain composure under stress.
