Training and Revision Specialist

Position Summary

As a Training and Revision Specialist working part time, you'll be the backbone of our team's continuous learning and quality improvement initiatives. You'll develop and deliver training programs that equip our retail team with the knowledge and skills needed to serve our customers with care and expertise. This role combines instruction, quality oversight, and process refinement to ensure every interaction reflects American Greetings' commitment to thoughtfulness and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for retail staff on product knowledge, customer service, and company standards
• Conduct one-on-one coaching and group training sessions tailored to individual and team development needs
• Observe staff performance and provide constructive feedback to improve customer-facing interactions
• Develop and maintain training materials, documentation, and resources for consistent knowledge transfer
• Review customer interactions, transactions, and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities
• Work with management to implement revised procedures and best practices across the team
• Track training completion and effectiveness metrics to measure learning outcomes
• Support onboarding of new team members and ensure they meet performance expectations

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience in training, coaching, or team development, preferably in retail or customer-facing environments
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and address process gaps and quality issues
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills; experience with learning management systems a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff
• Reliability and flexibility in a part-time role with availability to support team needs
