What This Role Involves

The Trade Counter Sales Assistant role involves serving customers at a trade counter, providing product advice, and managing stock. You will also handle phone calls and process orders. Key responsibilities include:

• Hiring/Off Hiring: Dealing with the hiring and off-hiring of plant and tools.
• Customer Service: Ensuring high-quality customer interactions to maintain a positive experience.
• Stock Management: Keeping track of inventory levels and ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and replenished as needed.
• Smooth Operation: Maintaining the efficient operation of the trade counter area, including setting up displays and arranging products for easy access.

Core Duties

Your primary duties will include:

• Providing detailed product information to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
• Assisting with the setup of trade counter displays and ensuring that all products are presented in an attractive manner.
• Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and order processing.
• Handling customer inquiries via phone calls and in-person interactions, providing prompt and courteous service.
