About the Role

The Department of Epidemiology & Population Health and the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative & Pain Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine invite applications for a joint faculty position in pharmacoepidemiology. This role will contribute to research, teaching, and service within the departments.

Core Duties

• Conduct independent and collaborative research on drug safety, efficacy, and utilization.
• Instruct students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in pharmacoepidemiology.
• Engage in scholarly activities that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in pharmacoepidemiology.
• Participate in departmental service activities, including committee work and administrative duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

• A PhD or MD/PhD degree in epidemiology, pharmacy, biostatistics, or a related field is required for this position.
• Strong research experience in pharmacoepidemiology and a proven track record of publication in peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience with data analysis using statistical software such as SAS, R, or STATA.
• A commitment to teaching and mentoring students at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
