What This Role Involves
As a Technical Services Technician 2 at PEC, you'll provide essential technical support that keeps our community connected to reliable power. Working from our Haley Road Offices location, you'll diagnose and resolve technical issues across our service territory, working both in the field and in the office to maintain the highest standards of service and safety.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment according to cooperative standards and safety protocols
- Respond to technical service calls and support requests from cooperative members
- Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostic testing on assigned equipment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all technical work completed
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies in every task
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting principles
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field travel within our service area
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
