About the Role
As a Director-level Technical Product Manager specializing in AI, you'll own the end-to-end strategy and delivery of enterprise AI products that empower BlackRock's investment teams. You'll drive cross-functional collaboration among business stakeholders, software engineers, machine learning researchers, and product teams to translate complex technical possibilities into high-impact capabilities that deliver measurable value to our clients and organization.
What You'll Do
- Define and communicate a compelling product strategy for AI-driven solutions across BlackRock's investment platforms
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch AI capabilities that solve real problems for investment professionals
- Partner with business leaders to identify high-impact AI opportunities and validate market fit
- Work closely with AI research and engineering teams to translate novel models and capabilities into production-ready products
- Establish clear success metrics and drive data-informed decisions to optimize product performance and adoption
- Manage product roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and communicate progress to senior leadership
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a technical product manager or in a similar leadership role, ideally with AI or ML products
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging AI technologies and their practical applications
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams including engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders
- Excellent strategic thinking and ability to translate business objectives into executable product plans
- Track record of taking products from concept through successful launch and scaling
- Deep curiosity about investment management, financial services, or enterprise software
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences
