Position Summary

This full-time role focuses on developing and managing our talent pipeline across South Africa. You'll be the primary point of contact for cultivating relationships with promising professionals, building a diverse candidate pool for current and future opportunities, and supporting our recruitment efforts from initial sourcing through to placement. This position is based on-site in Cape Town and offers the chance to shape how we attract top talent in the region.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social networks, professional associations, and direct outreach
• Build and maintain a comprehensive database of potential candidates aligned with our hiring priorities
• Screen CVs and conduct initial telephone or video interviews to assess candidate suitability and interest
• Develop and sustain relationships with active and passive candidates to keep them engaged with our opportunities
• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to understand role requirements and refine candidate profiles
• Track recruitment metrics, manage candidate communications, and maintain detailed records in our applicant tracking system
• Provide feedback and updates to candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related HR role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and standard recruitment tools
• Familiarity with the South African job market and talent landscape
• Ability to work independently whilst meeting targets and supporting team goals
• A passion for connecting people with meaningful opportunities
