GIST Research is seeking experienced law enforcement and prosecution mentors for a full-time opportunity supporting upcoming international programs across the United States. About the Opportunity
As a Law Enforcement and Prosecution Mentor with GIST Research, you'll join a curated talent pool of subject matter experts. We're seeking professionals ready to engage in mentoring and advisory roles on international development initiatives funded by the US Government and other international partners. Your experience will directly shape the capacity-building efforts of partner institutions abroad.
What You'll Do
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to law enforcement and prosecution professionals in partner countries
- Support project development and implementation planning for international programs
- Draw on your law enforcement or prosecution background to strengthen institutional capacity
- Contribute expert insight to help shape program strategy and design
- Engage flexibly as opportunities arise and programs are awarded
What We're Looking For
- Substantial professional experience in law enforcement, prosecution, or a closely related justice sector role
- Demonstrated expertise in US law enforcement or prosecution systems
- Track record of supporting or implementing US Government-funded programs or international development work
- Strong mentoring and communication skills
- Ability to travel internationally as required by specific programs
- Commitment to developing capacity in justice sector institutions globally
