Talent Lead

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded AI technology company in their search for a hands-on Talent Lead to build and own their recruiting function from the ground up. This is a remote opportunity serving a fast-growing organization that processes significant API traffic and develops proprietary AI models.

As their first dedicated talent hire, you'll have the autonomy to design recruiting processes, personally drive hiring across multiple functions, and work directly with executive leadership to scale the team internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own the full hiring cycle from sourcing through offer acceptance, personally recruiting across all functions
• Build scalable recruiting infrastructure including interview frameworks, scorecards, candidate tracking systems, and hiring pipelines
• Partner with hiring managers across GTM, Operations, Research, Product, and Engineering to define role requirements and candidate profiles
• Lead international recruitment efforts across US, EU, UK, and additional markets
• Develop and maintain hiring metrics including pipeline conversion rates, time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance
• Analyze recruiting data to identify process bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
• Build diverse sourcing channels across different functions and geographies
• Create an exceptional candidate experience that represents the organization throughout the hiring journey
• Collaborate with leadership on long-term talent planning and strategic hiring initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience running end-to-end recruiting at a startup, preferably in early-stage or high-growth environments
• Proven track record personally hiring a significant number of candidates and owning the complete recruiting process
• Experience building recruiting operations and processes from scratch
• Background hiring across multiple functions including GTM, Operations, Research, Product, and Engineering
• International hiring experience across multiple countries and markets
• Comfort working directly with executive leadership and senior hiring managers
• Strong data-driven approach with experience tracking and analyzing recruiting metrics
• Excellent sourcing skills beyond traditional job postings
• Clear communication skills and ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders
• Independence and comfort operating in environments where processes are still developing
• Fluent English (C1+ level)

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process with our team.
