TacIRST Production Program Manager

Join Lockheed Martin's Missile and Fire Control division as a Production Program Manager for the TacIRST program in Sand Lake, Orange County. We're seeking an experienced program manager to lead production execution and ensure successful delivery of this critical tactical infrared surveillance technology across multiple platforms and customer requirements.

About the Role

The TacIRST Production Program Manager will direct all aspects of production and production transition activities for established product lines serving multiple defense platforms. This full-time position offers the opportunity to guide capacity expansion, support proposal development, and drive continuous affordability improvements across the program portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Manage production execution and transition planning for established TacIRST product families across multiple platforms and customer programs
• Direct capacity planning and rate production initiatives, ensuring manufacturing meets schedule and cost targets
• Participate in proposal development and bid strategy to support business growth
• Drive affordability analysis and cost reduction initiatives throughout the production lifecycle
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and finance
• Monitor program metrics, schedules, and budget performance; report status to leadership
• Ensure compliance with defense industry standards and customer requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, program management, or related field
• 5+ years of program management experience, preferably in defense manufacturing or production environments
• Proven ability to manage complex programs with multiple platforms, teams, and stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, and cost control
• Experience with proposal and bid processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance (preferred)
