This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead critical supply chain initiatives across a leading medical device manufacturer's product development pipeline, where your strategic planning and execution will directly impact the successful launch of innovative surgical equipment.

About the Role

You'll manage end-to-end supply chain operations for new medical device products from concept through commercialization. This position bridges R&D innovation and operational delivery, ensuring that surgical equipment and components move seamlessly through development, testing, and manufacturing readiness phases. You'll own the supply chain strategy for each new product introduction, identify and mitigate risks, optimize sourcing timelines, and coordinate with vendors, engineering, and operations teams to meet product launch milestones.

What You'll Do

• Drive supply chain planning and execution for new product pipeline initiatives in the surgical equipment space
• Partner with R&D, product management, and manufacturing teams to translate innovation concepts into scalable supply chain requirements
• Develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts for new components and materials
• Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for new product introductions
• Identify supply chain risks and dependencies; develop mitigation plans to protect product launch schedules
• Lead cross-functional meetings and provide stakeholder reporting on supply chain progress and health
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and quality standards throughout the supply chain
• Optimize costs while maintaining quality and reliability standards for surgical equipment

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of project or program management experience in supply chain, procurement, or new product development
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, regulated product launches (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar industries preferred)
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple functions
• Proficiency with project management tools and ERP systems
• Knowledge of supply chain planning, sourcing, and logistics fundamentals
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
