Chitina Diversified is hiring a full-time Construction Superintendent in Vaucluse, Aiken County, South Carolina, to lead on-site operations and coordinate complex construction projects. About the Role

You'll manage all day-to-day construction execution, serving as the central coordinator connecting project management, skilled trades, subcontractors, and regulatory inspectors. Your decisions will directly shape project schedules, jobsite safety, and quality delivery.

What You'll Do

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities to meet timeline and budget requirements
• Lead subcontractors and trade crews while enforcing project specifications and safety compliance
• Act as primary point of contact between project teams, inspectors, and stakeholders
• Verify quality standards, material control, and work progress against project plans
• Implement and monitor jobsite safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Identify and resolve on-site issues with real-time problem-solving
• Track daily progress, maintain documentation, and report status to project leadership

What We're Looking For

• Extensive construction superintendent experience managing multi-phase or specialized projects
• Government contract or nuclear construction industry background strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and compliance requirements
• Proven track record leading teams, coordinating trades, and managing subcontractors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Competence with construction schedules, documentation, and progress tracking
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
