About the Role

As a key member of our store team, you'll keep our Newport News location stocked, organized, and ready for business every single day. This part-time position balances hands-on merchandising work with direct customer interaction, supporting both in-store shopping and our growing online fulfillment operation. You'll take ownership of product placement, shelf maintenance, and inventory accuracy while contributing to the professional, knowledgeable atmosphere our customers expect from Connecticut Fine Wine & Spirits.

What You'll Do

• Stock shelves, displays, and storage areas with attention to product condition and rotation standards
• Maintain accurate, organized inventory systems to support both retail sales and online orders
• Create attractive, informative product displays that drive customer engagement and sales
• Receive, count, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
• Assist customers on the sales floor, answer product questions, and support checkout operations as needed
• Keep sales floor, stockroom, and receiving areas clean, safe, and compliant with store standards
• Support other store operations and cover team needs as requested

What We're Looking For

• Physical ability to lift and carry cases and individual products regularly
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory and merchandising
• Reliability and flexibility to work scheduled part-time hours
• Friendly customer service demeanor and willingness to help teammates
• Basic ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Experience in retail, hospitality, or inventory management is a plus
