About the Role
As a Staff Software Engineer focused on data ingestion, you will lead the evolution of our backend architecture. Your primary responsibility is to refactoring and optimizing existing data pipelines while driving the development of next-generation distributed data storage and processing systems designed for indefinite scalability and superior query performance.
<h2-Core Duties- Refactor and optimize existing data pipelines
- Develop scalable, high-performance distributed data storage and processing systems
- Create clean, expressive interfaces that abstract complexity for various data consumers
- Support core web applications as well as advanced business analytics and AI
- Expertise in backend architecture evolution
- Demonstrated experience with distributed systems and data processing pipelines
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
