Sr. Manager, Project Delivery & Resource Planning

Join Designed Conveyor Systems as a Sr. Manager, Project Delivery & Resource Planning and lead our expanding project management organization in Franklin, Williamson County. This is a full-time leadership role where you'll shape how we deliver complex automation solutions to the world's most demanding brands.

About the Role

Designed Conveyor Systems is at an inflection point of growth, and we're strengthening our Project Management leadership across our Parcel and Distribution & Fulfillment business segments. You'll build and mentor a high-performing team of Project Managers, owning the strategic execution of material handling and automation projects that power modern supply chains. Your focus: ensuring projects land on time, on budget, and to specification while developing your team's capabilities and positioning DCS as the delivery partner our customers trust.

What You'll Do

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Project Managers across multiple business segments and project types
• Manage the project portfolio, allocating resources strategically to maximize utilization and delivery success
• Own end-to-end project delivery oversight—from kickoff through close-out—ensuring quality, timeline, and budget accountability
• Drive resource planning and capacity forecasting to align team capabilities with pipeline demands
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, operations, and customer success to eliminate delivery barriers
• Establish and refine project management practices, tools, and methodologies that scale with the business
• Engage directly with key customers and internal stakeholders to maintain visibility and trust
• Identify and execute process improvements that strengthen delivery velocity and team retention

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in project management or project delivery leadership, preferably in manufacturing, systems integration, or capital equipment
• Proven experience leading and developing project management teams in a growth-stage company
• Strong grasp of resource planning, capacity management, and portfolio-level delivery oversight
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—you thrive in cross-functional environments
• Familiarity with material handling, automation systems, or complex technical projects (a plus)
• Project management certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise
• Hands-on experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
• Comfort with ambiguity and a drive to build systems and processes in a growing organization
