Sr. Director, Web Experience and Digital Strategy

World Wildlife Fund, Inc. is hiring a Sr. Director, Web Experience and Digital Strategy to lead digital presence and strategy initiatives from a remote location. This full-time role offers the opportunity to shape how the global conservation movement engages supporters, donors, and conservation partners online.

The Opportunity

In this strategic leadership position, you will drive the vision and execution of web platforms, digital initiatives, and member-centered online experiences that advance World Wildlife Fund, Inc.'s conservation mission. Working remotely, you'll oversee how the organization connects with audiences across digital channels, balancing supporter engagement, donor relations, and fundraising objectives while anchoring your work in membership and communications best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive digital strategy aligned with organizational priorities in membership, communications, and marketing
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams managing web platforms, digital experiences, and technology initiatives across multiple time zones
• Oversee website architecture, user experience design, and digital platform optimization to maximize engagement and impact
• Collaborate with communications and marketing leadership to ensure cohesive messaging and successful campaign execution across digital channels
• Direct budget allocation, vendor management, and technology decisions for digital infrastructure and tools
• Translate digital performance data and user insights into actionable strategy improvements
• Champion web accessibility standards, security best practices, and industry-leading performance benchmarks

Who We're Looking For

• Eight or more years of progressive leadership experience in digital strategy, web platforms, or related fields
• Proven success leading digital transformation, platform modernization, or complex organizational technology initiatives
• Deep expertise in user-centered design, digital marketing, and conversion optimization
• Strong track record managing cross-functional teams and building effective stakeholder relationships at executive levels
• Working knowledge of web analytics, content management systems, and digital technology evaluation
• Strategic thinking with demonstrated ability to connect digital initiatives to measurable business outcomes
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for diverse audiences
• Demonstrated commitment to environmental conservation or mission-driven work (preferred)
