Position Summary
The Sr. Claims Specialist at Sedgwick is a key member of the team responsible for managing and resolving complex professional liability claims including errors & omissions (E&O), directors & officers (D&O), and employment practices liability (EPL). This role requires a deep understanding of insurance policies, legal frameworks, and industry best practices to provide comprehensive support to clients.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage claims to ensure timely resolution while maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.

- Conduct thorough investigations into claims to identify potential liability and negotiate settlements within policy limits.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and legal developments affecting professional liability insurance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional liability claims management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of E&O, D&O, and EPL policies and their application.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in claim management software and MS Office tools.
- Certified Claims Specialist (CCS) or similar certification preferred.
