Senior Claims Specialist

Westfield Insurance is hiring a Senior Claims Specialist in Alpharetta, Fulton County, to manage complex commercial and financial claims across multiple specialized insurance lines. In this full-time position, you'll take ownership of claims from initial report through resolution, working on both public and private company exposures while applying industry best practices every step of the way.

About the Role

As a Senior Claims Specialist at Westfield Insurance, you'll lead claim handling for directors and officers liability, financial institutions errors and omissions, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, and crime and fidelity coverage. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating complex coverages, directing investigations, and navigating the nuances of high-value claims across these specialized practice areas.

What You'll Do

• Receive, investigate, and evaluate commercial and financial claims for coverage and liability determination
• Direct claims management across D&O, Financial Institutions E&O, EPL, Fiduciary, and Crime/Fidelity lines
• Establish appropriate reserves, negotiate settlements, and communicate with insureds, legal counsel, and claim partners
• Oversee claim investigations and coordinate with external counsel and experts as required
• Maintain detailed claim documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Mentor and support junior claims team members in developing their technical expertise

• Demonstrated experience managing complex commercial or financial claims
• Knowledge of D&O, financial institutions E&O, EPL, fiduciary, or crime and fidelity coverage
