Title Specialist

SolomonEdwards is seeking a Title Specialist to join our team in Salem, Marion County. In this full-time position, you'll help ensure seamless property transactions by managing title documentation, conducting comprehensive searches, and supporting our clients' closing processes.

Role Overview

As a Title Specialist at SolomonEdwards, you'll play a crucial role in our real estate and financial services operations. This position bridges our consulting practice and closing departments, where attention to detail and thorough documentation are essential. You'll manage the title-related aspects of transactions and coordinate with all parties involved to ensure clear, insurable title at closing.

Core Duties

• Conduct comprehensive title searches and review property records to identify liens, encumbrances, or other issues affecting ownership
• Prepare and analyze title reports, abstracting relevant data from public records and previous documents
• Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and clients to address title concerns and facilitate resolution
• Verify property descriptions, ownership histories, and legal documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain detailed records of all title-related communications and documentation throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Support closing coordination by ensuring all title requirements are satisfied before settlement
