About This Position
Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Adjuster to join our team. This role will handle workers' compensation claims for jurisdictions including Michigan (MI), Texas (TX), Indiana (IN), Illinois (IL), and Ohio (OH). The position requires licensing and offers the flexibility of remote work while being based in Boise, Idaho.
Core Duties
- Evaluate and adjust workers' compensation claims within assigned jurisdictions.
- Communicate with policyholders, claimants, attorneys, and medical providers to gather information and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
- Prepare detailed reports on claims, including recommendations for settlement or closure.
Skills & Qualifications
- Licensed in at least one of the following states: MI, TX, IN, IL, OH.
- Experience in workers' compensation claims adjustment preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
